Worked a set of frames covering Puccini's La Boheme at the Royal Albert Hall. Have shot a zillion ballet gigs but I have to confess this was my operatic debut. 

I loitered with intent for a while backstage before going out to have a listen to the band and savour the acoustics of the hall. I can fully testify that regardless of what system we listen to music on, nothing blows the mind more thoroughly than hearing a full orchestra running through the score whist standing right by the percussionists. Women and the rhythm section first, right?
